Billy Burnette Self Titled 1980 Runout Matrix Code PBL 36792 1E-F5 MASTERED BY CAPITOL. S.F.O. This is a 1st Pressing, conflicting information about European or United States, but the label is stamped USA. The vinyl is close to NM, it has some paper scuffs and fingerprints (ultrasonic cleaning does not remove finger prints). The lyric inner sleeve has one corner folded down at some time. The cover is showing ring wear and was probably a wholesale at some point due to the corner being clipped. I am NOT representing this as a promo, there are not promo stamps. This was in my private collection, I was asking 11.00 for it individually.
Billy Burnette Try Me, Gloversville Pressing, Runout Matrix Code MCA-4627 ML4. 1985 1st Pressing. The vinyl is VG+, there are a few hairlines and paper scuffs. The inner sleeve is generic, some editions had a poster with lyrics, it is absent from this album set. The cover shows shelf and ring wear. This is a PROMO, the stamp is on the back cover. This was in my private collection, I was asking 9.00 for it individually.
Billy Burnette Gimme You, Runout Matrix Code PAL 37460 -1F TML. 1981 1st Pressing. The vinyl is VG+, there are some hairlines and paper scuffs. The inner sleeve is a lyric sleeve with no folds. The cover shows some ring and shelf wear. This is also a PROMO, the stamp is on the back of the cover. I was asking 11.00 for it individually.
Billy Burnette Soldier Of Love Pinckneyville Pressing 1986 1st Pressing. Runout Matrix Code MCA-5546-MD3 MASTERDISK -P-. The vinyl is almost NM, there are a few paper scuffs so I graded it VG+. The inner sleeve is a replacement cellophane sleeve. The cover has a saw mark in lower left corner, probably a wholesale. I am NOT representing this as a Promo, there is not promo stamp. The cover has light ring wear and edge wear. I was asking 7.00 for it individually.
The 4 albums would be a great addition to any rock collection. Billy Burnette was born in Memphis Tennessee in 1963 and was a part of the band FLEETWOOD MAC from 1987 to 1995. He played guitar and also did backup vocals.
I have graded thousands of albums, the buyer should look closely at the photo's. I took closeup photo's of a section of each vinyl record. All vinyl was ultrasonically cleaned and will ship in a new inner and outer poly sleeve.
I was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and am reducing my large vinyl collection. Most records for sale are from my private collection and priced to move. I have evaluated and graded thousands of vinyl records, but the buyer needs to look closely at the photos, I NEVER use stock photos!! These are actual photos. Please ask if you have questions! All vinyl is ultrasonically cleaned with my iSonic cleaner and shipped in new inner and outer poly sleeves.
Mint: Factory sealed, unopened, the cover has no bumps, edge or shelf wear.
Near Mint, NM: Vinyl is near perfect, very shiny like new,no scratches or hairlines, but may have a few minor paper scuffs. No cuts, saw marks, drill holes designating a wholesale.
Very Good Plus, VG+:Vinyl is shiny but does show some light dulling from use. Vinyl may have some light scratches and scuffs but is not coveredwith scratches. The scratches don’t appear to alter the sound. The covers may be modified with cuts/holes, but no seam splits.
Very Good, VG: Vinyl will have dulling, hairlines and scuffs. Could have some scratches. Hairlines could cover a significantpart of the vinyl. Scratches could cause some background noise such as cracks and pops.
Good Plus, G+: Vinyl has significant dulling, may be covered with hairlines, scratches and scuffs. Some scratches may appear fairly deep and the sound could be significantly affected including skips and A light line on the vinyl that appears to be a hair. Lighter than a scratch and has less impact than a scratch. May cause some pops or cracks when playing but likely should not cause the vinyl to skip.
Scuff: Paper scuffs are from sliding the vinyl in and out of a paper sleeve.
Noisy: When playing you can hear light pops and cracks, especially between tracks.
Scratch: Deep hairline that you can catch your fingernail on and could cause a pop, crack, or even a skip.
Promo: Saw Cut, drill hole, corner clip doesn’t designate a Promotional Copy, some are but other evidence is needed, most of these cover modifications were made when sent to wholesale and the cut/hole meant it couldn’t be returned. If I list something as a promo there is evidence such a radio station markings, stamps, or runout codes designating demo/promo.
Generic Sleeve: A plain paper sleeve with no markings, usually white or yellow.
Ultrasonic Cleaning: A water bath system that uses high frequency sound waves transmitted through liquid cleaning solution to scrub clean the surface of vinyl records. This type of cleaner is widely used in jewelry, medical, engineering and the weapons industries. I use an iSonic P4875 (II) with MVR10. I can clean 10 vinyl records at a time. They retail at about $1,000.00. Ultrasonic cleaning does not remove fingerprints or paper scuffs, it deep cleans the grooves.
Generic Sleeve: Typically white, no lettering or marking of any kind. Usually indicates a reissue or a gatefold with lyrics.
